I was born and raised in Sacramento and the surrounding areas. I attended and graduated from Sacramento State’s BSW and MSW programs. While attending Sac State I was an intern with SCUSD’s Student Support Centers (called Healthy Start at that time) it was then that I knew I wanted to return after finishing my education, so I did! I have now been a School Social Worker with SCUSD for 8 years. Things that are important to me: laughing, nature, mindfulness, my family and little dog Charles, and standing up for equality and social justice. My favorite thing about my job is all of the students I get to work with and see learn and grow!
