It is with great enthusiasm and joy that I join this exceptional community, and would like to take this opportunity to share a glimpse of the skills, background and qualities I bring to this important role.

As an experienced educator and leader, I have spent 14 years dedicated to fostering a positive, equitable and enriching learning environment for students, teachers and parents alike. Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated a commitment to promoting academic excellence, inclusivity, and strong sense of community within schools. In my early teens I immigrated from Veracruz Mexico, this has guided my ability to embrace change has guided me to become the professional leader I am today.

My professional background goes back to 2009 were I spent 6 years serving as an instructional assistant at Luther Burbank High School. In 2015 I served as a Specia Education teacher also at Luther Burbank High School and my most recent year I served as the Assistant Principal of Rosa Parks K-8. My academic background includes a Master’s in Education from National University and a Bachelor’s in Genetics with a Minor in Spanish from University of California, Davis.

One of my key strengths is my ability to inspire and motivate both students and staff to reach their full potential. I have dedicated my career to the continuous commitment fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment where students can flourish academically, socially and emotional. Furthermore, my experience in creating and maintaining strong community partnerships will enable us to tap into valuable resources and support networks, providing additional opportunities and experiences for our students.

· Student-Centered Approach: My primary focus is the success and well-being of our students. I am dedicated to creating an environment where every student feels valued, heard and empowered to reach their full potential.

· Collaborative Leadership: I strongly believe that effective education is a team effort, involving students, parents, teachers, and staff. I am committed to fostering open lines of communication and collaboration to ensure our school community thrives together.

· Data-Driven Decision-Making: I am a strong advocate for using data to inform instructional strategies and school improvement efforts. Analyzing student performance data and feedback, we can make informed decisions that lead to continuous growth and achievement.

· Social Emotional Learning and Empathy: I believe in the importance of cultivating emotional intelligence and empathy in both students and staff. Creating a supportive and caring atmosphere is essential for nurturing well-rounded individuals.

My goal is to foster a love for learning and instill in students a sense of responsibility and empathy towards others.
