¡Hola!

My name is Jackie Fields and this is my first year teaching 4-6th grade at Cesar Chavez. I am really excited to be here!
Prior to teaching here, I worked overseas in a bilingual immersion (Chinese/English) preschool in Hong Kong, China. I spent 10 years there as an Early Childhood Teacher and worked with young students from all over the globe! I am grateful to have had many opportunities to travel Asia and other parts of the world.
Hi! I’m Dayana Franco and I was born in Sacramento but my parents are from Jalisco, Mexico so I love to spend time over there on vacation. I’m currently on my third year of college studying to be a kindergarten teacher. Some hobbies I enjoy doing on my free time are going on hikes, painting, and doing makeup.
I was born in Tepatitlan Jalisco and brought to the United States for a better life. I was raised in a farming community, Williams Ca is about an hour north of us, this is where my parents and siblings reside today. My parents still work hard to make sure my 4 siblings and myself had a better life than they had. Their hard work taught me to work as hard as they did, I appreciate their strong work ethic. Today I work for my two children at home and my 400 children at Cesar Chavez.
I like to work on my car and look at new stuff for my computer.
I am Maestra Marchesi and I have been a teacher in Sacramento City Unified since 1999. I graduated from Sacramento State University with a Bachelors of Art in Liberal Studies and a Master’s in Education. I also have a Certificate in Bilingual, Cross-Cultural, Language and Academic Development (BCLAD).
I grew up in the Oak Park neighborhood in Sacramento, CA and currently live in Sacramento County with my husband and two daughters.
Hi my name is Edgar Ortega. I’m 26 years old, who is still at Sacramento City College, and wants to become a school teacher. I was born in San Francisco,California. As a kid I always liked to be in sports especially in soccer throughout the years. Until now I have been playing soccer and entered in a program called “Soccer for Success” for the kids to be mentored in soccer. Another interesting thing about me is that I love to travel mostly to Mexico and go to the beaches.
